Seus trabalhos envolvem fotografia, vídeo, performance e instalação. Formada em audiovisual pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro e pós graduada em Arte Multimídia (U.Lisboa), é atualmente mestranda em Lenguajes Artísticos Combinados (UNA-Buenos Aires). &nbsp;&nbsp; Premiada pelo programa governamental brasileiro Conexão Cultura Brasil em 2014, coordenou diversos projetos e expos no Museo del Chopo, na cidade do México. Another rape case happened when the artist Ana Mendieta was a student. Ana shared the same university with the victim and no one cared much about the crime. Back then, Ana performed Crime Scene in her apartment. It consisted in her half naked body bended over a table showing her sex and legs covered in blood. She invited some people to her house. They would find an open door and a victim. An invitation to a crime scene where people would discuss about it and leave with a strong impression about this serious, neglected and sadly common type of crime. Last night I´ve started to revisit Ana's performance, because of my research about her life and work. It was intense and even though I could not see people's faces and reactions (I had a mirror covering my face) I could listen and feel the strong energy that my image would bring. When I felt some heavy energy like horror, profound sadness, shock or anger, I would try to transform it into good energy and send it to the girl. We try to understand what it feels like, but we can´t. All that we can do is bring awareness and send her good thoughts. We are also asking for justice by keeping an eye on the case and making a lot of pressure. The media didn't want to talk about it. It only did because there were so many of us talking about it on the internet. Yet it did in a chauvinistic way. It's a long way...but we keep on walking. May the light blind the eyes that made me the image of horror. I'm not the image BUT IT IS and by seeing it I make you blind." Rio, 28 May 2016.
